Julie England (Principal)

Julie EnglandJulie has been teaching for many years with students going on to teach and work in the industry. She is Vice-President and a founding member of the Australian Dance Adjudicators Association. She is also the owner of the Les Griffith Tap Dance Academy and an examiner of this Syllabus.

Simone Towers (England)

Simone has danced with EPDA since she could walk. She is a very competent dancer & won many Championships in Tap, Classical, Jazz, Song & Dance, Clog & Lyrical.

She has been teaching for many years & previously danced professionally throughout Australia for 10 years.

Simone has toured extensively overseas with EPDA. She is our Head Teacher & teaches all forms of dance.

She is a member of the Australian Dance Adjudicators Association & is a registered Teacher & Examiner for the Les Griffith Tap Dance Academy Syllabus.

Before its closure, Simone was also a qualified teacher in all aspects of dances with S.A.T.D.

She is an excellent teacher & has a wonderful rapport with her students.

BA Teaching/ BA Arts (Newcastle)

Karyn Davis has been a loyal part of the EPDA family since 1995 and fondly recalls the time she was handed the little newspaper clipping that would keep her home in Newcastle and pursue a love of dance and teaching. There are good reasons to still be with Miss Julie and Miss Simone!
